The PWDCA National Specialty is a dog show that is held for a week near the end of August. This Specialty is specifically aimed at the owners/breeders/handlers of Portuguese Water Dogs. This year, the National Specialty will be held in Frankenmuth, Missouri, from August 25th to August 31st.

Katrina’s mother, Becky, is a respected breeder, owner, handler, and trainer of Portuguese Water Dogs. She is also on one of the committees the PWDCA oversees. When the organization asked around, Becky informed them of Katrina and connected them to start a conversation. Katrina is currently creating a brand new website that will implement an e-store and more user friendly designs.
